OTOFOKUS Photography Art Club achieved a significant success in the international arena and put the names of Turkiye and Adana at the top of world photography. It was chosen as the best Turkish team in 2023, building on the success it received from the world club cups it has participated in for the last three years.
OTOFOKUS Photography Art Club, which has been participating in the International Federation of Photographic Art “FIAP” World Cup for Clubs since 2021, which was held for the 18th time this year and attended by 226 photography associations and clubs from 45 countries, was honored with an honorable mention by placing 7th in the rankings. Our photographers who have achieved a successful graphic since 2021 and are in our team on behalf of our club; We would like to thank Alperen Akharman, Ayşe Sevil Gürel, Ergin Yöntem, Hasan Dayanıklı, Hanifi Koç, Mahmut Altun, Mehmet Değirmencioğlu, Mehmet Gökyiğit, Mürvet Rişvanoğlu, Mustafa Şahin, Nihan Büyüksural, Soner Bakır, Saniye Tunca and Serap Ünal.

OTOFOKUS IS NOW FIAP DISTINCTED
OTOFOKUS Photography Art, founded in 2021 by photography lovers from Adana, has closely followed the photography developments in Turkiye and the world since its establishment and has become an active club with its productive members and the projects and events it has carried out.
Thanks to its achievements in the International Federation of Photographic Art FIAP World Club Cup, which is called the champions league of photography and in which it has participated since the year it was founded, OTOFOKUS Photography Art with the serial number ILFIAP 2249 was honored with the CAFIAP title by FIAP, as the first club in Turkey and the 10th club in the world.
Clubs participate as teams in this cup, in which approximately 250 clubs from all over the world participate every year. In addition to the successes we have achieved as a team, the individual successes of our team members also contribute to this title. The results we got in the FIAP Club World Cup in which we participated as OTOFOKUS;

ADANA PHOTO WEEK
Adana Photography Week, which was held for the first time this year between 15-21 December 2023 in Adana, attracted great attention from art lovers with its program addressing different areas of art and urban culture.
Adana Photography Week, which was designed with a content that draws attention to the importance of art and artists in the formation and development of city culture, was held at Seyhan Çırçır Art Center, which was restored from an old cotton factory and brought it to Adana’s culture and arts world. At the opening of Adana Photography Week, attended by more than 1000 art lovers, Journalist and Television Producer Nebil Özgentürk, Orange Blossom Carnival Opinion Leader Ali Haydar Bozkurt, Turkish Photography Federation President Sefa Ulukan and Seyhan Mayor Akif Kemal Akay in Adana in April. They made speeches touching on the cultural richness of Turkey and its contributions to Turkey’s art world. Speaking at the opening of the Week, Event Coordinator Mustafa Öncül said that from centuries ago to the present day, Adana has always been a big city and with this feature it has been a big brother to many cities of Anatolia, adding: “Especially for those who live in the surrounding provinces and cannot fit in, who want to be better, Almost everyone who pursues innovation, aims for success, is creative and visionary believed that the way to achieve this was through Adana and came to Adana. Adana is a big city. It welcomes everyone who comes, blends them with the vast culture of freedom and tolerance dating back centuries, and makes them Adana residents in a very short time. “Adana’s richness in almost every field is nourished by this culture of freedom and tolerance,” he said.
Adana Photography Week, which started with a grand opening with the “100 of 100” Photography Exhibition, will continue with a week-long series of beautiful panels and interviews…
“100 OF 100” PHOTO EXHIBITION
Although we have prepared a modest program for the first year of ADANA PHOTO WEEK, we have a very ambitious photography exhibition: On the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we added a memory to our memories and organized ADANA PHOTO WEEK is starting with a photography exhibition called “100 of 100”. We call the “100 OF 100” PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION “An ambitious photography exhibition” because all the owners of the photographs in the exhibition are from Adana!
Some of our artists were born in Adana and still live in Adana… Some of them were born and raised in Adana, but the wind of life blew them to other cities of Turkiye and the world… Some of them came to Adana for their work, some for their spouses and never left… Some of them were born and raised in Adana. He walked the orange flower-scented streets of Adana, formed warm friendships, and reluctantly left Adana with memories that he will never forget for a lifetime…
100 OF 100 PHOTOGRAPHERS FROM ADANA PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION was created with photographs of those Adana people and 100 photographers from Adana. This exhibition is a first. It is a first as it is an exhibition consisting entirely of the works of the artists of that city. We called all the artists in the exhibition one by one, talked to them, said, “This will be the first exhibition to be held in Turkiye,” and invited them to the exhibition “100 OUT OF 100.” None of them disappointed us, they added to our excitement, shared our happiness, and took part in this wonderful exhibition. We thank each and every one of them.
We have not forgotten not only our photographer friends in Adana, but also our friends who were well known, loved and respected by the entire photography world, but who passed away early. We commemorate our friends with our photography exhibition “THOSE LIVING IN OUR HEARTS”.
LIFE IN BACKLIGHT PHOTO EXHIBITION
The first photography event of 2023 in Adana was held by the OTOFOKUS Photography Art family on January 9, 2023, with the valuable contributions of Adana Metropolitan Municipality. The opening day of the exhibition, which will be open for a week at the 75.Yil Art Gallery, attracted great attention.
The backlight photographs in this exhibition, which consists of photographs taken by Autofocus Photography Art members with the aim of pushing the boundaries and presenting unexpected perspectives, presented to photography lovers an impressive art form that shakes traditional perception and encourages the viewer to think.
All photography lovers are invited to the exhibition, which will be open to visitors at the 75th Year Art Gallery for about a week…
MASKED LIFE DURING THE PANDEMIC DAYS PHOTO EXHIBITION

The opening day of the exhibition, which will be open for a week at the 75.Yil Art Gallery, attracted great attention.
The worldwide pandemic left deep scars on human life and went down in history as an unusual experience. During this difficult process, people had to adapt to many changes and it had a significant impact on their lives. The photography exhibition “Masked Life in Pandemic Days” visually addresses these changes and people’s experiences during the pandemic process.
The photography exhibition “Masked Life in Pandemic Days” was organized to document what happened during the pandemic and to reflect people’s experience in this regard. Each work in the exhibition addresses the effects of the pandemic from a different perspective and offers viewers the opportunity to think deeply.
